MIKE AND ANNE'S ANNUAL LEAF PEEPER PARTY!

We are excited to host our 7th-ish Annual Leaf Peeper Party (ALPP)!

WHEN: October 6-8, 2023

  • If you want to come on Friday and stay through Sunday we would love to have you! If the weather is good we are hoping to do some biking on Friday afternoon and prepping the house for the weekend.

  • If you plan on staying overnight (yay, we love sleepovers!) Please bring some camping gear. We have limited space in the house - first come first serve!

  • We are going on a morning hike (with doggies!) starting at 10am on Saturday! More details to follow!

WHERE: 1102 Scrabble Hill Rd, Duxbury, VT 05676

  • If you are planning to stay the night we ask that you park your car across the road near the wood splitting stuff to create space for those that are coming and going on the day. If needed you can park along the side of the road as well.

  • THEME: That's right, we are going full on OCTOBERFEST! So bring your lederhosen and your steins, das boots and your yodeling! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQhqikWnQCU!

  • FOOD: Mike and I will provide breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, and wiener schnitzel, with roasted peppers and onions and pretzels with beer cheese for dinner on Saturday! Please bring something to share for afternoon munchies, a side with dinner or desert!

  • DRINK: Mike and I will provide a pony keg of some beer but please bring what you would like to drink!

  • MUSIC: We will play tunes in the house and in the garage - DJ Anne will take requests and will most likely skip songs so prepare yourselves...Also if a dance party happens in the garage with our new party lights then so be it but ya know only if the vibe is right :-)

  • GAMES: We hope the weather supports some lawn games - and if you have any games to share please bring them!

  • DOGS: We welcome you to bring your dog but if your dog isn't getting along with other dogs we ask you keep them on a leash - We do have a dog run if people want to use it as well. Lastly, people do walk on our road and will pass by now and then and our dogs will often bark and want to run down to the road so more of a warning for something to keep an eye on.

  • LEAF PEEPING: We hope the weather allows you all to see Camels Hump at its finest for some premium leaf peeping...Those leafs won't peep themselves!

  • HOT TUB: The hot tub will be open and rolling! Bring your bathing suit for a late evening relaxation - Please be mindful of your time in the tub to allow time for others (5ish people at a time).

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we hope to see you this weekend!

Cheers!
